Our History

The 2021 season was impacted by the continuing COVID pandemic. This season featured no official in person events but introduced a number of At Home Challenges and remote judging sessions. In this season we combined teams 5454 and 5568 into one rebranded team 5454, Obsidian. During this season we had a number of new team members as well as three graduating seniors. This season allowed us to reuse our 2020 robot and we also built a new second robot for this season. The team had a chance to compete in an exciting multi-week offseason event in Missouri, “The Hanger Games”. Both of our robots qualified for the playoffs in this event. We also competed in the Arkansas Regional Co-Op offseason event and were part of the finalist alliance in this event.

In the 2020 season teams 5454 and 5568 once again worked together building and competing two separate robots for the Infinite Recharge event. This season brought back many previous team members as well as three amazing seniors who had this for their final season. We were fortunate enough to compete in the Arkansas Regional before the FRC season was cancelled due to the pandemic.
